Privately tutored since late 2016 for a wide range of subjects and grades, running both one-on-one and large group sessions. Most frequently tutors high schoolers in Math and SAT prep, comfortable tutoring in a wide range of subjects as well as Test Preparation, College Admissions & Essay Writing.

Tutoring Approach

With the SAT, I teach students to beat the test and avoid its many pitfalls. I focus on error reduction, emphasizing the need to understand the reason some answers are incorrect after taking practice tests. When tutoring in other subjects, I make sure that I adjust based on my client’s learning styles and emphasizes an understanding of material over simply getting answers correct.
